Common Questions
Is this another Indeed?+
No. Indeed lists millions of jobs from everywhere. One Chattanooga Works will only list real jobs from Chattanooga employers who are actively hiring and connected to our workforce system. When you're matched, a real person follows up — not an algorithm.
Do I have to pay for training?+
Most training programs will be eligible for WIOA funding, which means they can be free to you. Some programs also accept TANF, SNAP, and local scholarships. We'll help you figure out what you qualify for.
What if I don't know what I want to do?+
That's okay. Start by signing up and applying — the process helps you explore options. Once the system launches, you'll get matched to opportunities based on your interests and experience, and a real person will help you make a plan.
