About the program
Learn MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques on steel and aluminum. Program includes blueprint reading, welding symbols, metallurgy fundamentals, and safety certification. Hands-on shop time makes up 70% of the curriculum.
What to expect
- •Weeks 1-3: Safety, equipment orientation, flat-position welding
- •Weeks 4-7: Multi-position welding, MIG and TIG techniques
- •Weeks 8-10: Blueprint reading, welding symbols, fabrication projects
- •Weeks 11-12: AWS certification prep and testing
